International joint laboratories

The University of Bordeaux, together with the CNRS, INSERM and INRA research bodies, encourages its research teams to participate in the International Joint Laboratories scheme.

This scheme is a key tool in the creation of international university research policies. In addition, the International Joint Laboratories or “LIA” also benefit from specific support via the IdEx Bordeaux program.

The Euroregional Campus of Excellence project

Within the context of the Euroregional Campus of Excellence project, which brings together the partner institutions of IdEx Bordeaux and Euskampus, two cross-border laboratory projects are being developed:

  • QuantumChemPhys, “Theoretical Chemistry and Physics at the Quantum Scale”, coordinated by Pascal Larregaray (UMR ISM) and Ricardo Diez Díez Muiño (Donostia International Physics Centre)
  • AENIGME, “Advanced Manufacturing”, coordinated by Olivier Cahuc (UMR I2M) and Franck Girot (Universidad del Pais Vasco)
