Institute of Technology
The Institute of Technology (IUT) prepares students for the two-year University Diploma in Technology (DUT). It also provides tuition for Professional Bachelor’s Degrees (3 years of post-secondary education).
The IUT of the University of Bordeaux was established on the 1st January 2016, and was created via the merger of three separate IUTs: Bordeaux, Bordeaux Montesquieu and Périgueux IUT.
The Institute welcomes in total over 4,300 students and is located on four sites:
- Agen: Administrative and Commercial Management of Organizations; Quality, Industrial Logistics and Organization
- Bordeaux Bastide: Marketing Techniques; Business and Administration Management, Logistics and Transport Management; Legal Careers
- Gradignan: Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction; Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computer Science; Mechanical and Production Engineering; Health, Safety and Environment (HSE); Computer Science, Physical Measures and Production Theory, Material Engineering and Science
- Périgueux: Marketing Techniques; Biological Engineering; Social Careers/Urban Management; Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering
